  • New occasion: drop-in vaccination on campus on October 29

    [22 Oct 2021] On the morning of October 29, the university is arranging a new drop-in vaccination in Vasaparken, to make it easier for students and staff to take both of their doses. Just like the previous drop-in, it is possible to start the vaccination with dose 1 or to get the second dose of the vaccine.

    [13 Oct 2021] The second call for EUTOPIA SIF, EUTOPIA's postdoc program, is now open.

  • Doctoral courses are open for applications on 1-21 October

    [29 Sep 2021] Doctoral courses planned to be given the spring term 2022 are open for applications on 1-21 October.

  • The University arranges drop-in vaccination against COVID-19

    [24 Sep 2021] On September 30, a vaccination bus will be parked outside the University's main building in Vasaparken, offering drop-in vaccination against covid-19. With the bus, the university wants to make it easier for those who have not yet had the opportunity to take both of their doses.

  • University Library opens up its premises from 27 September

    [24 Sep 2021] As the general advice on keeping distance ceases and the University gradually moves to campus-based activities, the University Library also opens up its premises. The libraries opening hours will be expanded, group rooms will be opened and there will be more study places. In connection with this, overdue fines are reintroduced.

  • Revision of guidelines: Special reasons for extending doctoral appointments due to COVID-19

    [9 Jul 2021] University-wide guidelines regarding extensions of doctoral appointments relating to COVID-19 were produced by the Committee for Doctoral Education in June 2020. Due to continued restrictions, the guidelines have been revised in May 2021.

  • New service for storage of class 3 information

    [10 Jun 2021] The service Secure storage is now launched. Secure storage is a service for storing data with a high protection value (information class 3), ie data that may not be stored in any of the university's other storage areas or tools.

  • PhD student? Apply to EUTOPIA Doctoral Mobility Programme

    [21 May 2021] Are you a PhD student at the University of Gothenburg? Are you interested in conducting a part of your research at one of the University's EUTOPIA Alliance partners? Or maybe you are eligible to supervise PhD students and would be willing to host a PhD student from a EUTOPIA partner for a short time? And if you are currently supervising PhD students, maybe you want to conduct an exchange with colleagues at one of the partner universities? If so, then the EUTOPIA Doctoral Mobility Programme (DocMob) might be of interest to you.
